Licence
Use of the app is governed by Apple’s Standard Licensed Application End User License Agreement (EULA).
ovr Premium
ovr is free to use. Contracts, deadlines, reminders, cancellation drafts, meter readings and iCloud sync stay available without a purchase. ovr Premium (formerly ovr Plus) is an optional in-app purchase that also unlocks bank-statement import beyond 5 contracts, the debit forecast, the 12-month cost forecast, Household & Profiles, any number of budgets and more colour palettes. The free import shows you every payment it finds and creates up to 5 contracts.
Apple is the seller. Purchase, payment, invoice and VAT are handled through your Apple Account under the App Store terms. ovr never receives payment details.
Subscriptions (yearly, monthly) renew automatically for the same period at the then-current price unless you cancel at least 24 hours before the current period ends. You can cancel at any time in your iPhone's Settings under Apple Account → Subscriptions. Cancelling takes effect at the end of the paid period.
Free trial: the yearly subscription may include a free trial (currently 14 days). If you don't cancel at least 24 hours before it ends, the paid yearly subscription starts. ovr also reminds you 2 days before the trial ends, if notifications are allowed. The date Apple shows is the one that counts.
Lifetime is a one-time purchase without renewal, valid for the life of the ovr app on your Apple Account. A founders' price applies until 31 January 2027. From 1 February 2027 the regular price of €39.99 applies. Purchases already made are not affected.
Prices are shown in the App Store and in ovr before you buy. Price changes to subscriptions follow Apple's rules: you're told before an increase, and where required you must agree to it.
Withdrawal and refunds are handled by Apple (reportaproblem.apple.com). Your statutory right of withdrawal towards Apple is not affected.
Family Sharing: if you have it set up, members of your family group can share ovr Premium.
Restore: on a new device or after reinstalling, go to Settings → ovr Premium → Restore Purchases.
When ovr Premium ends (expiry, cancellation, refund, leaving Family Sharing), nothing is deleted. Imported contracts stay normal contracts, extra budgets stay visible but read-only, the palette returns to Graphite, and the forecasts are locked again. Profiles you created stay visible, filterable and assignable, but can’t be added, renamed, reordered or deleted. Reminders keep working for every contract.
No warranty
ovr calculates deadlines, dates, prices and amounts from what you enter and from your documents, or reads them out automatically. They can be incomplete or wrong. Calculated cancellation dates are estimates and are marked “calculated”. Only your contract documents are authoritative – please check important dates yourself.
No legal advice
Cancellation letters are drafts. ovr doesn’t send them. You check the details and send the cancellation yourself. ovr is not responsible if a cancellation doesn’t arrive, is late, or has missing or wrong details. “Marked as cancelled” in the app is not confirmation from the provider.
Reminders
Notifications are a help, not a guarantee – for example if notifications are off or the device is switched off.
Face ID
Face ID only locks ovr’s screen. It doesn’t encrypt your contracts or PDFs. Once the iPhone is unlocked they can be read on the device, and the widget can show deadlines while the app is locked.
Liability
ovr is liable without limitation for intent and gross negligence, for injury to life, body or health, under the German Product Liability Act and where a guarantee was given. For slightly negligent breach of an essential obligation – one whose fulfilment makes proper use possible in the first place and on which you may regularly rely – liability is limited to the foreseeable damage typical for this kind of contract. Otherwise, liability for slight negligence is excluded. For the free features, § 521 BGB applies accordingly, as far as the law allows. Your statutory consumer rights, in particular for digital products (§§ 327 ff. BGB), are not affected.
Trademarks
Trademarks, logos and company names belong to their respective owners. ovr is not affiliated with, endorsed or sponsored by these companies. Provider names and logos are used only to help you recognise your own contracts.
